    Question Vitamins and supplements?

    I know there are no magic pills for weightloss, but i am looking to purchase anything and everything that will help me be healthier..(and/or skinnier )

    As you all know i am currently dieting and working out about 4 times a week.

    This is the list ive compiled based on some recommendations--is this good? too much? too little? Am i missing out on something crucial? I dont want to go overboard either.

    Complete Omega 3 6 9
    Womens multivitamin with Calcium or Super Spectrum 12?
    Fiber supplement
    Potassium supplement

    You can take Flaxseed for the 3 6 9, and I wouldn't take fiber & potassium, take either one or the other because they kind of counter act each other, usually why I'm looking to drop weight I'll take fiber for a while and then switch to potassium before I go away or something to drop water weight.

    i have flaxseeds at home, but i rarely cook with them..

    Jess I prefer to use flaxseed oil. It seemed to have a better effect on me. I'd use it on salads with a lil balsamic.

    b 12 (i take 3 - 5 a day)
    i also take these but you prob dont need
    a green tea pill

    the only thing i would change would be the timeing of the pills i would say 1 serving apon rising in the am and then the second depending on when u train

    My diet pill of the week (lol) , multivitamin, cla & flaxseed oil 3 times a day (morning- afternoon -night) pills- if I take yogurt then I also mix flaxseed seeds, green tea pills only in the morning, and protein ...

    I would stick with Omega's, a fiber supplement, green tea and straight Hoodia extract. Clean diet, cut back on the alcohol, drink water only and train hard and dont skip days.

    Can someone explain what green tea pills are for? I'm wondering if I should add them to my sups. Right now I'm taking a multi, a triple omega, echinacea all in the a.m. and I'm prob gonna add cla.

    Its a natural fat burner and it also has antioxidants in it.

    CLA from what I am reading on, is more to help you drop the stubborn fat so I would guess that unless your in good shape and your looking to get to the next level there might not be a need for it. I also heard it *could* help with building muscle but what gets me about these tests they do is, you dont know the shape these people are in before hand. I mean if you make someone who doesnt workout and they are made to workout for 6 weeks your going to get results even if your not on anything.

    And anyone who has questions (not that this forum doesnt help) you should always do your own research on a product/supplement or even the supplements that are a certain product your looking to take. There is a ton of CRAP out there that doesnt work.

    Ah OK thanks. So is it overkill to get hoodia AND green tea? I'm in decent shape I'm not looking to lose weight just tighten up a bit. I run every other day and do yoga.
    I wanted to get the CLA because I have used it before and it did do just what you said. I didn't gain any muscle from it but I did look and feel leaner.

    Hoodia is a appetite suppressant so it wouldn't be over kill IMO. It would be a good combo.

    most of these supps are bullshit and just make u feel like its working mentally. only real supps u need is a multivitamin.omegas, xtra vitamin c (2g a day). hydroxycut hardcore seems to work the best as far as thermogenics are concerned. its 90% diet in this game.
