Some of the dishes I had:

Bramata polenta with a fricassee of truffled mushrooms

Short ribs with sautéed vegetables and a farro risotto

    Spaghetti with tomato and basil

All 3 of these dishes were amazing...

The chef is known for cooking on low heat...the tomatoes in the sauce are cooked for llike an hour before being plated, or something like that freddy would know what i am talking about

yea scott conant (chef/owner) is all about cooking his meats on low heat as opposed to 500 degree oven most other restaurants do. all our meat gets lathered in evoo along with thyme and rosemary. he feels slow roasting allows the meat to get all the flavor from the olive oil and herbs.

the tomato sauce is fresh tomatoes that are peeled and seeded then cooked for a couple of hours and then a flavored oil is added to it right before its done. then on the pick up we add butter, red pepper flakes, cheese, basil and evoo

Hopefully soon, I almost came back this month, but I am taking a trip to Colorado for Thanksgiving to see my mom so that kind of put the NY trip on hold. Looking at December now. You will be the first to know though, we def gotta do a nice dinner somewhere, and make sure Ant finds a parking spot this time
