rows and pullups also affect them too for me .... i always felt back excersizes affected them more than any shoulder ones ... i would space at least a day in between when you do shoulders and back whichever you do traps with ... or just do them all on the same day thats what i do moswt of the time
Some people listen to music .... others just hear it

Another question, I seem to have naturally narrow shoulders, I’ve noticed that when my traps grow, it looks like my shoulders slope even more, anything I can do to even it out, I do side delt dumbs raises but they don’t seem to help.

I always did Traps on back days as many of your back excersises incorperate your traps as well.

As far as getting bigger, wider shoulders, one of the best things to do is heavy weight shoulder presses. Don't go so heavy as to sacrifice form but heavy weight is good to shock the muscle and get nice growth. When you're looking to define them a bit, drop the weight and increase the reps.

I do them with shoulders. Supposedly, when I flex them they're big for a girl

    I do them w/ shoulders.

Can anyone recommend any other excercises other than shoulder shrugs w/ the bar + plates? I usually just do that, and use the curl bar and bring it up to my chin. Pull downs I usually bring to the back of my neck, but I feel like I'm missing some other shrug excercises.

DUMBELL shrugs u can hold them recessed to hit the back of the traps

its better than using the bar you think? When I use the bar, I interchange my hand positions between sets.

dumbells better isolates the muscles, straight bar restricts movement

Overhead Pressing, if done correctly, will hit your traps hard. Key is to "activate your shoulders" or think about pushing your shoulders to your earlobes. The problem is many people do not know what true "overhead" is.
