    Fire Roasted Corn

Tried this @ SmokeyBones the other week and was thinking about making it with dinner, but no idea what to throw in? I googled for a recipe....but no luck.

Anyone have a recipe or something similar?

not for nothing, but i make a similar every-day corn dish with like no hassel but tastes so good..

i used canned corn, put a little olive oil, add the drained corn, add salt, pepper, and tons of paprika, and a dash of cayenne pepper and sautee in a skillette till the corn browns and carmelizes

i am sure u can add some onions and red peppers in there if you'd like but i like to char the corn a bit in the pan so im not sure if the onions and peppers would burn.

thank you so much. I will definitely use your tips. Maybe I will sautee up some onions and red peppers in another pan and add them in after the corn is all browned up. I will let you know how it turns out.

I did a trial run tonight.
I heated up the corn in a tablespoon of butter. Sprinkled it with salt, pepper, cayanne pepper and dashes of paprika
In another pan I sauteed up some red pepper in olive oil and then just added it to the corn when it was ready.....

so yummy. I added the peppers to the corn and probably should of done it the other way around...which I will do tomorrow so I can sautee up the corn. But here are a few pics:

yum leave the corn for a longgg time...theres a lot of water in it, and it takes a while to carmelize
