    San Diego Restaurants

Going on Wednesday through Friday. Me and my two bosses are headed to dinner on Wednesday night so it has to be kind of a nice place. Any one have any suggestions??

    Thanks

San Diego is an awesome city. I have such a great time there every time I go. Def check out La Jolla and Mission Beach if you get a chance. Its nice to just walk around the city. Last time I was there we stayed at the Marriot Marina, perfect location, walked right from Hotel to Gaslamp Quarter where all the nightlife and restaurants are.

I think this is where I stayed last time. I thought the name was Marriott Yacht club but it's probably the same thing. Gaslamp is definitely the place to be for the bar crowd. There are some great restaurants with outdoor seating there as well. If you are looking for a classy type dining experience go have dinner at hotel del coronado. It's quite swanky. I felt like I was on the titanic when I ate there. I would prefer some fish tacos for a dollar each down on the beach of la jolla though.

This place was really good. They have their own butcher shop. http://www.thecowboystar.com/

The heirloom beet salad was delicious. I didn't know beets were so good! We had another salad that was celery root with chopped walnuts & hazelnut oil. I don't see it on their menu but mmmmmm Pretty sure I've never had celery root before. The stuffed mushrooms are incredible. We had 2 orders. Not sure what steak we had. Really good & strong sangria. Unique & tasty tequila cocktails. I had one with cucumber and simple syrup, another with some sort of cactus juice. It was hot pink but both were really good.
