How much cardio should someone trying to gain weight do...

I currently work out 3X a week and generally run a mile on the treadmill after each session. I am 6'2 180 lbs and am looking to put on 10-15 pounds over the next year.

I obviously want to stay in shape, but being that it is very hard for me to gain weight, how much cardio can I do without sacrificing weight gain?

Should I stick to a mile? Should I not be running on the treadmill at all? Opinions...

none ... a very vigorous workout will be all the cardio you need

Walk on a high incline for a warm up. Nothing crazy. 7 min i'd say for a warm up. 15 min later on.

If trying to gain weight i'd say just do a warm up , rest squats, deads, cleans, etc.

i wouldnt overdo the cardio. if you arent on a solid training program paired with a surplus diet, you wont gain much.

its hard to gain weight and keep "in shape". My advice, pick one and go full force to it. If you want to gain weight, its imperative to stick to functional, compound movements such as the squat, deadlift, cleans and presses (shoulder and bench), and plyometric such as dips, pullups etc etc. These pack the most muscle
