Anyone buying CD's these days? I checked out CitiBanks rates and they were around 2.5% for an 18 month term. Sounds kinda shitty to me.
Was asking my Dad about this the other day and he was reminiscing years ago when CDs paid 6-7% returns. I guess thats why they call them the "good old days."

it wasn't the long ago when they were even 5%... for a 9 month...

Ally Bank seems they have some great rates right now. Still around 2% though. and no penalty cd product looks good. havent read up on it though.
