That's nuts you are not allowed to grunt! haa! This has to be the cheapest gym I've ever heard of too. For someone like me who only does my cardio at the gym, I would probably join if I lived near one. However I would not be so accepting of the pizza and bagels. I work right across the street from a pizzeria, mcdonalds, and almost every other crap kind of food there is, I think I have pretty good self control. Although sometimes the thought of a snack wrap makes my mouth water LOL Who in their right mind would want to work hard and then counteract it with a crappy slice of pizza?!

Exactly, which is why I agreed with Kroms about it being the best business plan ever. Open a gym for fatties who dont go to the gym, make them feel all warm and cuddly, and take their money with a smile on your face.

I am a member but its not my only gym, I just use it for morning cardio cause there open 24 hrs during the week. My regular gym doesn't open till 6:30 and I need to get there by 6:00 to make it to work on time. I agree it sucks but their cardio equipment is nice and it's usually pretty empty and clean so fuck it. $10 a month for a place to do cardio 3-4 times a week works for me.

I'm seeing a lot of those retro fitness places open up everywhere never been to one but they advertise $19.99 a month.

There’s really no need to knock Planet Fitness or its clientele. The makers of these commercials knock bodybuilders because they know that their target audience is both jealous of and feels insecure around bodybuilders. Planet Fitness is the one who’s smiling, because these commercials bring in more and more insecure, weak minded clients . . . which results in Planet Fitness making much more money. The niche exists, and they’re making money off of it. Capitalism.

Besides, would you feel the need to respond to a fat, ugly, dumb redneck middle-school kid who called you an idiot? I sure as hell wouldn’t. Just smile, and be happy that you’re not as pathetic as Planet Fitness’ clientele.

Don't, don't join a retro in northern NJ. I was a member for a year and equipment wise and lay out wise they are great but they get beyond packed, to the point where you can't get on anything and people constantly asking to work in with you. I've been to 3 in the area and each is just as bad. Went to the one in Cherry Hill and it was great, no one there.

Good to know, nothing worse than an overcrowded gym, I'd def. rather pay moar money to not have to put up with that.

One is opening a few blocks from me later this month. Think i'm going to join as you can't beat the convenience. I figure i'll try to get in there early AM as it will be a shit house the first month or so from 5-10pm. Apparently it has a few tanning beds as well.
