    Thumbs up Food Trucks

Was in LA for a bit and hit up a food truck festival... Some of these trucks are sick!

One was called Lardon - an all bacon on everything truck. I shared a nutella brownie topped with smoked apple bacon. The next truck was Frysmith - a french fries truck w/ a twist. I shared sweet potato fries topped with chicken in tomatillo-tamarind sauce, jack cheese and cashews.

Anyone into these? What's the best you've had?

I went to a Food Truck rally thing in Brooklyn this past weekend and was SUPER amped for it. We got there late and all of the good trucks had left already because they ran out of food so I was super sad!

those fries look serious! I saw a special I believe on FoodNetwork about a french fry food truck in LA I cant remember the name but they had crazy creations just like that

The ones in Austin, TX are insane too. It's pretty much gourmet dining and they have everything.

I tried an authentic lobster sandwich from one truck in LIC (damn thing cost $14). One of the best sandwiches I ever ate.

They go to a nearby restaurant or fast food place, order a soda and leave. I've done it when I worked at a hot dog stand.

The number of food trucks has grown by 10.5 percent in the past year, a growth rate higher than any other business licensed by the state, the Department of Business.food trucks and I know not many people in NYC know what food trucks are. I am taking a research class and my topic is food trucks.
