I'm going to restart shaping up this section and since I used to post a lot of articles on New York City and what it offers on a weekly basis, I figured I would make a full thread on JUST NY with weekly arts & entertainment happening in the big apple. For those if you traveling to New York, it will be a great read to get yourselves in the know and for those of you actually living in New York, keep your eyes on this thread.

Montreal style Bagels in New York City!



Meet Iggy Kostov, the baker of the newly opened B&B Empire. Iggy is the first to bake Montreal style bagels in New York. I paid a visit to his coffee shop nestled in the heart of Brooklyn Heights to test them out. It doesn’t have the nostalgic taste of my hometown but it’s pretty close. Iggy never visited Montreal but he says some teacher came down to show him the secret St-Viateur bagels receipe. For those in New York, it’s possible to order St-Viateur’s online or eat them at Mile End Delicatessen in Boerum Hill, a few blocks away from Iggy’s place.
