    Best Steakhouses in NYC

Looking for a little help in regards to steakhouses in NYC, from my city people

It is for a bachelor party. We are going to start off with a steak dinner and then let the fun begin

The best man has delegated choosing the steakhouse to me

I am looking for something more likely in Manhattan.. It can be a little pricey, no big deal it is a bachelor party so everybody should expect that. This group of guys I am going with 8-10, I am literally the smallest person. The friend getting married was a former Offensive Tackle at Temple, so most of his good friends are former lineman ranging from 6'2 - 6'6 250-300. So I am looking for quality along with quantity .Steaks between 24 oz -48 oz .

A couple co workers told me I should go to Peter Luger Steakhouse in BK
I really don't want BK, but I heard it is good

Any feedback will me much appreciated

PETER LUGARS by far best steakhouse in NY. Yes there are others that are good, but none like PL definitely worth the trip to Brooklyn. Some other places tho...

    The Palm
    Smith and Wolynksy
    Sparks
    Del Frisco's
    Wolfgang's
    Rothmann's

I've ate at all of them. All are good/great but PL is excellent. Never heard of anyone having a bad experience at the place

Ohhhhhhh why thank u Nicole. It is good to know there are still some girls left in this area that still appreciate a good old fashion American steak and it not just about sushi

Yup, that is what I heard about PL

I just rather stay in Manhattan because it is more convenient for this gathering

Bobby Vans, they have two locations, one downtown on broad st and on in mid town (forgot where exactly.)
Machinery is limited by the intelligence of the operator.

Nice....I can eat bro. Since I was a frosh in HS I would go out and eat with the upperclassman lineman as a contest and win...and at that time I was like 130 pounds

Now when I go out with these monsters they have 50 pounds on me and I still out eat them

I love steak more than anything

I am a big Rib eye guy, but can eat and variety of steaks

totally understandable. i love steak. my parents take me to PL every year for my birthday. they always ask me if i want to go and try somewhere else and i'm like no i'll stick with what I know, thanks! lol

as far as girls and their sushi habits, have to say i love going out for sushi as well and usually suggest it if im asked to pick a spot for dinner for the sole reason that I like to go out to places and get food I can't cook/make for myself. Granted i can't cook a steak like PL but i can make steak, spinach and a baked potato (or at least i cant try) hehe

BLT Prime or BLT Steak is up on there on the list right now. Peter Lugers is cool if your group hasn't been there before but overall the food is mediocre is comparison to other spots.

    Prime Meats (Carrol Gardens)
    Wolfgang's (Tribeca)
    Luger's (East Wburg?)

in that order. Had the prime meats signature steak for the first time a couple weeks ago and it managed to top even wolfgang's which was my previous favorite. Not served on a plate of oil like Wolf or Luger's and just outstanding. You get to choose the size of your steak, anywhere from 25 - 45 ounces or something ridiculous, lol. We went with a 32. Much leftover, which were still awesome two mornings later
