Favorite type of cardio? Is this a trick question? I hate all forms of cardio.

I was a slave to the elliptical but now I only use it when my knee and/or ankle hurts.

I've went back to the treadmill and I've started doing HIIT. Now that I don't smoke anymore I'm able to run. It's not as bad as I thought and it definitely makes the time go faster.

I use to hate running, but now I love it. As long as I have some tunes, I could run for miles.

I'm only "maxing" out at about 160bpm in order to reach 120bpm during recovery (2:1). So I'm probably closer to a jog than a sprint but I think I'll work my way up to actual running.

Try running outside. So much more fun and better on your knees. I think . Treadmill running gets so monotonous, I could never do it for more than like 10 minutes.

Treadmill running is actually lower impact then running on pavement although I always get shin splints running on the treadmill and I refuse to do it now.

My fav cardio is werking it on the dance floor

The great Herm Edwards once said "You play to win the game"
The great Abs once said "You dance to werk the floor"
The great Elite once told me "You sweat to cleanse your body"

if possible, I try to run on dirt or grass, but usually it's on cement. haven't had any splint problems. Been running pretty regularly since July

I train on dirt but I don't do any long runs anymore. 3 or 4 miles is usually my max unless I do a 10k race.

yeah, but they don't provide enough support for me. I have high arches, need a lot of support. Those creepy foot gloves offer close to none

Running outside is an option I might explore.

thats funny cause i heard treadmills are bad for the knees. i really like the elliptical only problem i have with it is im somewhat tall and since its on a set track the stride is shorter than what i normally take. i quit smoking last year too. wouldnt be able to do hit if i was still smoking.
