Anyone ever been?

Tried to go here last night but there was something like a 2 hour wait. I think it may have been because I'm a roundeye. It's in the basement of an office building. Feels like you're going into some shady poker game. If anyone has been to the private rooms of Phillipe Chow, that's kinda what it's like.

Everything I read on it says its amazing. I'm def gonna go next week. I'll post a review after.

I'm gonna make a reservation for this Thursday. My cousin works on 40th and 3rd so we just took a walk over and gave it a shot with no luck. I'm excited to try it out.

Went for lunch today. Had the lunch tasting menu. The jerkoff client cancelled on me so met up with my cousin who eats here often. 4 courses, 1st was sashimi with the freshest and best tasting wasabi I've ever had. Tuna, salmon, whitefish, fluke and white tuna. Also came with bean curd and asparagus. 2nd course was cold soba noodles. 3rd was some different tempura, miso cod and skirt steak. Dessert was a poppyseed creme brulee with a bean ice cream. Best dessert I've ever had.
