He'll come back in midway through the season. Watched the first episode last week online, and I have to say the new guy is pretty good of course it'll take sometime to get use to. But so far judging from the first episode he's pretty good.

I just finished the first season, holy shit! That's what I call a fucking finale.

I thought the first episode of the season was really good.

As for the Liam, the new guy playing Spartacus, it seems like he is making the role his own instead of trying to be like Andy. They are both very different and bring their own flavor. One thing I loved about Andy was how intense he was in every scene. I don't think he overacted the part at all but he brought this passion to the role, there was a hardness about him.

They did a good job setting up the way the slave rebellion is going to be brought on, how Spartacus will start to gather slaves. I wonder how many seasons the Glaber story will play out, if that will end this season or if we will get 2 seasons of it. The writers say they have a total of 7 seasons they could run.
