how do gnc supplements compare to other name brands?

so i know gnc makes some aight shit. their protein is pretty good. what about the rest of their stuff? the guys at the store push the shit out of it. thats mostly because thats their highest commission but they do have a pretty good argument. gnc is a much larger company than most of these labs and has way more money for research & development. whats your experiences with their products?

All gnc employees do is push the newest stuff in their inventory. Its like oh its a newer product so its better yo. Something they swear by one month, a few months later they'll be like oh that stuff sucks. Its got too much of this or that. With that said i will say there have been plenty of times they recommended i go with something that was not gnc brand.

I think you can be pretty secure in the fact that you're getting at least a halfway decent product from them but more often than not there will be something better out there. The only thing i take from them right now is the multi vit.

yeah. i use their multi too. i'll buy the protein if it happans to be on sale when i show up. shit like preworkout and energy pills i go with cullocor or usp labs. not really sure if they even make that shit. bcaa id go other places too. im really curious about beta alanine and glutamine. ive read that the manufacturer doesnt really make a difference for that shit. just get whatevers cheapest.

I always feel like GNC is underdosed, the vitapacks have good vitamins in them, but the supplements and aminos they try to add in those packs are always really low. There is one exception, I think the strength vitapack is 5 grams of creatine, but I think its pointless to take 5 grams of creatine with your morning vitamins, much better post workout with some sugar.

Gaspari is a great company, not crazy overpriced either, I like Optimum, and At Large Nutrition as well. I don't want to knock anyone but I don't like USP labs, I think they are completely full of shit. OxyElite is a good fat burner but its basically a methamphetime pill. The rest of their products are full of shit and hidden behind a proprietary blend, even Jacked is BS.

yeah, olxelite is crack. its actually to strong. i wont take it unless im really fucking tired. ive yet to try jacked. i have a tub downstairs but ive been sick. i use c4 regular. its a great product. ive read/heard nothing but great things about jacked. so i wanted to give it a chance, ima stagger three days on thre days off with each. see what gives best results. also want to try 1mr. i feel its good to have a back up with these stimulating supplements because your body does build resistance to them over time.

Multivitamins is the only thing I have taken the last 10 years

    one a day, lol

when I was 18-20 I messed around with GNC....creatine....it worked but I learned quick it was water weight anyways and did not want my body to be dependent of a supplement

It is great taking a break from the gym and not losing myself and never lacking energy because I ain't on something

Naturally gains are healthy and will be much better long term in life

Good vitamins and ok protien, good glutamine as well... Jack3d is the truth but for real results , balanced diet, sleep and just training your ass off on a consistent basis will do.

Easier said than done when you work long ass days with commutes like most of us, not counting everything else that needs to get done. I swore pre-workouts off for a long time but I eventually realized they are now a necessary tool. Not constantly, but cycle on for a couple of months (I usually do 2 jugs) and then come back off for a while.
