$366 aint bad at all, that sounds more like it

maybe if they weren't so out of hand with the price of the navigation and sometimes making you lump it in with other packages more people would buy them

I am going to need a car soon. The days of mass transit are coming to an end unfortunately. I plan on buying something nice, but something that is 3 years old. Pay it off in 5 years and then sell privately. Use that money for a different car every five years. At least that way you are getting some of the money back that you are spending on a car. I am past the point in my life nor am I rich to need a brand new car. I would be perfectly happy with a very nice car that is 3 years old.

most garmins are better them OEMs, chrysler uses garmins as OEM now

garmin marine and aviation is big business for them, I think the thing is if you can build a portable nav and sell it under $200 why should the dealer stuff be $5k?

i have a tomtom 720 for 4-5 years now, never an issue... never a bad route..... never any connection issues
im not a fan of OEMnavi units either .... they typically make you get the higher end package with leather/navi/rims for an extra 3-5k .. screw that

Same here, it usually takes about 15 mins into my drive before finding a signal.
