    Are Rodgers or Brees...

still the favorite to win the MVP even after their early exits or should Eli Manning who has carried his team to the NFC championship now be in consideration?

Regardless of who wins, I think we can all agree that Eli is among the best QBs in the game. It is an honor and a privilege to watch this guy play week in and week out. A true professional and a great sports hero for NY.

I don't want to get ahead of myself and call me crazy but another SB win I think both him and Tom Coughlin will be HOFs.

    Go BIG BLUE!!!

    Outplayed by Rex Grossman twice

Yeah, let's enshrine him because his team has had some remarkable team efforts

Oh that's right, Eli is great because Cruz took an 8 yard pass for 99 yards

Eli is a good player, but his lack of consistency and turnover-ridden play prevent him from HoF status

you are that pathetic nerd who bust out stats but only when they work in your favor

has Jordan ever played at the level Lebron has?

I bet you're back on the Brady bandwagon after he threw 5 TDs in the 1st half against the broncos? Wasn't it you who wrote him and the Patriots off last year as old and washed up?

Eli 41 INTs last 2 years... yeah that's awesome

Your problem is u can't separate a team win from a player's performance. Eli did nothing to lose these games, but mostly just threw a few short passes that got turned into long TDs. Playoffs are a small sample size, reg season is where a guy's legacy is made. Eli has gotten better but still has mediocre all-time stats. He has a ton of work to do to get to HoF consideration, to be honest, he is not even close right now

Congrats to Eli though for not screwing up today and letting the Packers self-destruct, I think that would be the best compliment someone would make

Eli had a good season. Other guys had considerably better. He's left standing though. Sanchez beat Brady last year H2H does that mean he is better? Is Tebow better than Roeth? Sometimes the better QB does not have a great game. Rodgers had a B minus type game. He did considerably better than most guys would have done in his position (considerin the drops), but he missed some throws. Inexcusable by him, his face after the game said it all. Eli on the other hand watched Nicks take an 8 yard pass into 70 and catch a hail mary. Does that mean Eli played better? I guess it's in the eye of the beholder

I am no match for you....you break down every game like no other. My bad for even attempting to battle you in this thread. Once again you show what a true pro you are.

I am going to go to bed and try and regroup. You are a special individual.

I mean since we are talking about stats and passer rating....

Eli was better today, but def not better this season... If its going to go to anyone besides Rodgers it has to be Brees.... with Brady close behind...

And lets talk about Brady... i think 5 td's at half.. easily could have had 8/9 that fucking cunt... The one time BB talks the pedal off, is when Brady could smash the record... I think he respects the broncos for some strange reason..

I don't think Eli was better today. I must have missed the Packers WR who took a 10 yard pass for 70 and caught the Hail Mary. Whatever Packer WR did that he sure hid well. Plus Eli threw a potential backbreaking pick when it was still a game and generally had 6-7 seconds to throw the ball.

All you need to know was defined when Eli ran for 5 yards and could have got the first down but bitched out then Rodgers sold out his body to pick up another first down with his legs. Eli was carried by his team and Rodgers was betrayed by his

Rodgers was def betrayed by his team, but he def didn't play up to his standard...

Eli did what he had to do to get the win, so in that sense he played better..

First: MVP has nothing to do with the Playoffs...it has to do with the Regular season.....It is Rodgers or Brees award....prob Rodgers. Eli could win a better MVP award though...Super Bowl

Second: I would agree IF the Giants win the SB..........Tom def will be a HOFer......Eli wins he would be ahead of pace

AT this point Eli is on pace to making the HOF........He def is on pace...not well ahead of pace, nor below pace....right on Pace...if you can't see that U are just an Eli hater

Third: Come on......Eli outplayed Rodgers yesterday....really don't want to hear otherwise....why is it being pointed out how great Eli's wrs played? You can say the same thing about Rodgers mass WRs all year than...can't you???????

I hate when people try to spin shit like that, but don't get the guy they are defending gets the same shit

The chemistry was clearly off by the Rodgers in his WRs.......Eli throws that TD before half...don't care Nicks makes a great catch and the defenders sucked on that play...still had to make a great and perfect throw..........anybody who says Eli did not out play Rodgers yesterday is in denial

Eli wins a SB this year you can start paving his way to Canton
I want what all men want, I just want it more

What??? Eli had a higher passer rating, more yards, more TD passes, and less turnovers tha Rodgers. How exactly did Rodgers play a better game???

    Haters goin hate
