Do I think the Patriots can win this game, absolutely. Anytime you have 12 under center you have more than a good shot. However, the Giants have just as many weapons (if not more) than the Patriots on offense and a much better pass rush.

Saying Brady doesn't want to face these guys is a joke. He has been wanting this since 4 years ago. It is going to be a game for the ages.

Brady had his chance for revenge during the regular season this year at home and came up short. I don't think he wants to play the Giants right now, they have his number. I'm sure he was rooting for SF

I'll scale it back a little from blowout to 14 points or more.

    True Story.........in 2007, I didn't want to play the 18-0 Pats.

I don't think it will be a blow out at all. I expect a very close high scoring game with the GMEN coming out on top

he's played the Giants 3 times in the last 4 years .. going 1-2 losing by a combined 6 points and winning in NJ in the season finale in 07.. saying they have his # is ridiculous. Can they pressure him and force him to play "unbrady" like football, absolutely. But to say he doesn't want to play them is absurd

brady is a gamer he wants a chance at revenge no doubt about it ... i think the giants are playing better ball right now tho ... defensively for sure and i think our offense will be able to exploit NE's defense more than vice versa ... you can never count brady out of anything tho him and BB know how to win ... turnovers will be key in this game

agreed 100% on that. Giants are definitely playing better ball, but you can't count out Brady.. especially with the revenge factor

Its going to be a tough fought game...

Turnovers are going to be the key..

Getting pressure on the QB is going to be a difference maker...

Whoever puts in the best week of practice, might have the edge...

In the end I think the team that plays the best is going to win....

That should cover about every cliche (expects 2 weeks of this)

haha exactly.. you are bound to see...

    - the helmet catch
    - Plax in corner end zone grab burning Ellis Hobbs
    - Eli and Peyton studying film together

wouldn't be surprised if the Giants name David Tyree an honorary captain, kind of a Rex Ryan move there but wouldn't doubt it.

    I think Giants win comfortably.

The 49ers are a more formidable opponent than the Pats. Not to take anything away from Brady, but they were lucky to win against the Ravens and their D is softer than cotton candy. Ravens should have beat them yesterday. The 49ers are a much tougher team than the Patriots are.

The Gmen are the hottest team now. They won by against the Jets 15 going away late; they then beat the Cowboys, Falcons and Packers all by double digits, and then outlasted the Niners on their field against the hands down best defense in football. Manning was hit ALL day and kept going.

This super bowl match up is like the Green Bay (who are very similar to NE)/Giants matchup 2 weeks ago. Eli will have a field day. Cruz, Nicks and Manningham all break 85 yards with at least one of them over 125.

    38-21.

What's up with them putting Hernandez in the backfield and running him? And putting Edelman at corner? That's some crazy shit. I hope they put Edelman out there on Nicks or Cruz

Wow to act like the Pats have no chance is just silly. I don't care what else the 49ers have on the field, when I see that one team has Alex Smith at QB and the other has Tom Brady, the better team is the one with Brady. They're more dangerous because of that alone. As for comparing them to Packers, I don't think we will see the Pats drop a ton of passes and fumble it repeatedly like the Packers and 49ers just did. Not sure who will win, but to give the Pats no chance and call it a Giants blowout is absurd

Does anyone really think belicheck and brady are going to lose 2 superbowls in the matter of a few years to the same team? Its going to be one hell of a game. but i think somehow someway the pats pull it out.

You are forgetting this team squeaked out a win earlier in the season, the Patriots defense has gotten better since then (not that they can get any worse). You honestly think the Giants didn't get lucky on Sunday with that muffed punt and fumble? Patriots got luucky as well, I'll admit that but lets call a spade a spade here.

I watched the 08 super bowl again last night. it is amazing how

    1) Different these teams are on both sides of the ball (Patriots only have one defensive player and 4 offensive starters still with the team)

    2) Eli's ability to convert on 3rd down, especially early in the game..

This game is going to be close but to say the 49ers are a better team than the Patriots is insane. Better defense yes...., offense, coaching, and special teams is not even comparable.
