I need a new phone. I've always gotten them through AT&T. My phone chick usually pulls some insurance scam or whatever and I get a new device every 3 months or so. She can't do anything right now and I'm looking for an iphone 4s. I was thinking of buying something off ebay. Anyone have any experience with this?

i've bought phones off ebay for a while now seeing as i get bored with phones quickly. havent had a bad experience....i got a jailbroken iphone 4 rite now that i purchased from ebay and its fine.

can you get someone else to do this insurance thing for you or for them to choose iphone and you buy them a less expensive phone?

i got an iphone through amazon by a resale vendor who guaranteed it for like 2 months. even has a slot to stick the SIM card. AT+T ready so i just went to the store and got a new SIM and stuck it in ... wired it to my laptop and BAM just like before.
it was jailbroken but i wasn't after that i use like 5 apps. phone and weather included lol.Remember, you are unique. Just like everyone else.
