gonna start at $500 and $800-1000 for the top one,
I think they're too late to the game, iPad has cornered this market but in my opinion, Androids are steps ahead of iPads, I've played with both and decided on the Asus Transformer, just the fact that you can expand the memory with a micro-sd card is reason enough to get an Android, paid $350 for a 16GB brand new and with $30 more I tripled the memory, a 64GB iPad was $800 lol

I just know I'm gettin one, the other's gettin away!"
IMO 500 is too much. This is gonna be a huge flop. You can get an iPad for $400 now, who will want to pay more for Microsoft's version?
My brother has the Toshiba Thrive which runs Android and I love it. The thing really is awesome. Tons of people make better things than Apple. Expandable memory and removable batteries make things so much better but the sheep will flock.
I would prob have a Thrive if I wasnt given an iPad.
Sounds interesting
this shit looks dope..but seriously..aint nothing better than a macbook Pro LOL
just watched the video
it is not innovative..it is an ipad with a keyboard
also the ink pen thing has been done by i forget who..Samsung?
Innovative? not really
I have an Asus Transformer Prime with the keyboard and it blows away the Ipad 2 i gave my wife.
zune for sure
nothing will pass apple
i carry my 13 inch mac pro everywhere, drop it, stil works
Not innovative? The iPad is a tablet with very definable limitations. This is a tablet that truly blends into laptop territory. Yes the keyboard and stand are part of that. Also this keyboard cover has a touch pad though I don't see the big deal other than the ability to right click, which is actually kinda huge. It could be useful for editing media but then there is the stylus so I dunno. What makes this innovative is the integration with Windows 8. I see a phone with Windows Phone 8, the Surface and a laptop or desktop with Windows 8 all connecting seamlessly. NATIVE CODE; any app or straight up game written for either device can be fitted to work on the other with about a days work. That is huge. Not to mention the OS itself is getting awesome reviews with it's speed and ease of use. How about the fact that there are actually ports on this thing, so you can really use this as a computer, not just a tablet like the iPad. You can DO work on this and create media, not just store it. How about the NFC chips that they are putting in them!? Touch a business card and you have a new contact. Touch an add and you are brought to their website. Touch the phone to the "tablet" and it will do whatever the hell a particular app is made to do.
I have an iPad 2 and I am MUCH more interested in this than the new iPad. Even with all this nothing is for sure. History has taught us a few things. Apple has brainwashed so many people into buying their overpriced devices that they actually make money, sick money, on hardware. Microsoft typically doesnt give much of a shit about hardware because there is no money in it compared to software. Most of MS's money comes from licensing and i've even heard that they have no intention in staying in this tablet market for long. Also i'm sure everybody here knows that MS actually came up with the idea for the tablet long ago, but it failed cuz noone cared. I believe that is because they came out with it too soon and the technology was not ready to make it as cool and new as the iPad was when it came out.
IF they price this thing properly, and the game/app developers keep pushing out product, like it appears they have all intentions of doing, this thing could be a game changer. The iPad may hold onto its crown but it just might not dominate the market for long.
