I know you know your stuff, so im curious. With D36 not doing to well, Sankeys seems to have stalled and Liberty Theater seems to hold gala events not really all or any House Events beside 2 or 3. Sadly i dunno what its gonna take for a big room to be successful here in NYC.

There's rumors of an underground club being built in Brooklyn as well in williamsburg.

went to Roof club in Moscow last Saturday , met Marat Safin lol crazy guy, his ex g/f is know with roman abramovich... sucks that in Russia though that they don't listen to techno or tribal... but the girls are just phenomenal , in every club or lounge the girl to guy ratio is like 7 to 1 . Not like in NYC... and i love how Moscow is not gay friendly... not like here where they get a parade every year...

I heard Moscow nightlife is decent. Don't know or care who the people you met are but more importantly, what is the standard of electronic music there? Tribal is a pretty niche category and techno, too vague.

They should just open a giant club on Roosevelt Island and have all the famous NYC DJs on a rotating residency there. NYC residents get in free. Everyone else $50 no tables. Forget Manhattan and all the stupid Eurotrash tourists.

i know Boriska , used to work for his dad Alec on Brighton Beach when he had ST.Petersburg restaurant/cafe . He told me he doesn't like it.... its not his scene... I dunno if its true and i dont want to start rumors. But someone I know in Moscow who owns a club once had VC play there . The crowd wasn't feeling him , so the owner came to Calderone and told him to play Madonna records . VC said go fuck urself , Im calderone and i play what i want.. SO they took him off , replaced him with some pop dj.. since then VC is yet to play in Moscow , or ST.Petersburg.. dunno if its true or not , but it makes sense
